Charts with garment measurements only

Every listing has its own size chart in the Description tab. The same chart appears as the last image in the gallery. The numbers describe the garment, not the body. Inches come first, then centimeters after the slash.

A chest number with the final say

Chest means the distance around the garment, measured flat across the chest and doubled. That number settles the size better than the letter does. Across the catalog, a size M runs from 38.6 in around the chest to 48 in. The Waffle Knit Crewneck Sweatshirt in Light Gray is the 38.6. The Waffle Knit Stand Collar Quarter Zip in Coffee is the 48.

Steps with a favorite top from home

  1. Pick a sweatshirt, hoodie, or shirt that already fits well.
  2. Lay it flat on a table, zipped or buttoned.
  3. Lay a tape across the chest 1 in under the armholes and double the result.
  4. Measure the length from the highest point of the shoulder down to the hem.
  5. Measure the shoulder from one shoulder seam to the other.
  6. Measure the sleeve from the shoulder seam to the end of the cuff.
  7. Pick the size whose chart numbers sit closest to those results.

Hand measuring varies by 1.2-2 in either way. A chart number inside that range counts as a match.

Sleeves with a neckline starting point

Four styles measure the sleeve from the neckline instead of the shoulder seam:

  1. Raglan Sleeve Quarter Zip Pullover in Blue.
  2. Quarter Zip Hoodie in Army Green.
  3. Sherpa Lined Full Zip Hoodie in Cream.
  4. Raglan Two Button Polo in Army Green.

Their sleeve numbers run from 28 in to 33.7 in, which is why they look long. For these four, measure a garment at home from the collar seam at the back of the neck to the cuff.

Styles with a small fit

Two styles run small. The Waffle Knit Crewneck Sweatshirt in Light Gray measures only 38.6 in around the chest in size M. The Long Sleeve Polo with Striped Placket in Beige comes with the maker’s advice to go one or two sizes up. Both listings repeat this note.

Charts with fewer columns

Some makers measure fewer points. The Oxford Button Down Shirt in Light Blue lists the waist instead of the length. The Stretch Slim Fit Dress Shirt in Peacock Blue lists the chest and the length only. The Lightweight Pullover Hoodie with Curved Hem in Coffee lists no sleeve.

Letter sizes with uneven coverage

Group Garments Sizes offered Chest range
Sweatshirts 14 XS to 5XL 38.6-65.4 in
Hoodies 13 S to 5XL 41.3-62.2 in
Long Sleeve Shirts 14 S to 3XL 40.2-57.5 in

L, XL, and 2XL exist in all 41 garments. M exists in 40, because the Shawl Collar Waffle Knit Pullover in Black skips it. S and 3XL exist in 36 each, 4XL in 8, and 5XL in 4. XS exists only in the Quarter Zip Sweatshirt with Flap Pocket in Brick Red. The listing shows which sizes are in stock today.

Wrong sizes with a 30-day fix

A size that does not fit counts as a change of mind. The garment can come back within 30 days of delivery, with return postage paid by the customer. A new order for the right size can go in at once. A garment more than 2 in away from its own chart is different: that is a Quirefox error, with a prepaid return label.
